Presentation

Here is a valid Natomon Item card.

Similar to monsters:

  • Items have varying levels of rarity

  • The rarity of an item is determined by its DNA

Each item class has a unique set of effects or bonuses, which are influenced by the item's rarity. Higher rarity items provide more powerful effects or bonuses.

The item cards provide two boosts to the equipped monster.

The Origin

The Origin is linked to the Generation.

All items of the first generation have the origin "Elemental".

Subsequent generations will introduce new origins.

The Classes and Rarities

Unlike monster cards, the bonuses provided by these item cards are fixed but they still depend on the item's rarity.

On items, the rarity gives better boost (no chance here, just big flat boost).

Here are the rarity levels and their patterns for items:

The State

In addition, an item card is either Radiant or Unholy, we call this the State:

  • A Radiant item gives a boost to 2 related statistics. Example from above: +14% Crit Chance and 20% Crit Damage.

  • An Unholy item gives one boost and one nerf to 2 distinct statistics, but the boost is bigger. Exception for Legendary Unholy items, the nerf is replaced by a small boost in another statistic.

Remark: Unholy items have a grey filter applied to the artwork on the card.

Here is an example of a set of Unholy items. You can see that the Accuracy or Attack Power nerf present in Common and Rare rarities are replaced by a small boost in Armor at the Legendary rarity.

The Fame Points (FP)

Each item card has a base amount of Fame Points based on its rarity:

  • Common: 500 FP ✪

  • Rare: 1500 FP ✪

  • Legendary: 2500 FP ✪

On this base FP is added (for Radiant items) or subtracted (for Unholy items) its durability with a multiplier (1 for Common, 3 for Rare and 5 for Legendary).

Finally, the Fame Points of an item are attributed to the monster that equipped it.
