# The Items

## Presentation

Here is a valid Natomon Item card.

<figure><img src="/files/qig8uY3bp1l8AH2Rxnyj" alt="" width="326"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Similar to monsters:&#x20;

* Items have varying levels of rarity
* The rarity of an item is determined by its DNA

Each item class has a unique set of effects or bonuses, which are influenced by the item's rarity. Higher rarity items provide more powerful effects or bonuses.

The **item** cards provide two boosts to the equipped monster.&#x20;

## The Statistics

Each Natomon **item** cards have the following attributes:&#x20;

<table><thead><tr><th width="328.3333333333333">Attribute</th><th width="177">Used in</th><th>Example</th><th data-hidden></th></tr></thead><tbody><tr><td>Origin</td><td>Art &#x26; Statistic </td><td>Elemental</td><td></td></tr><tr><td>Class</td><td>Art &#x26; Statistic </td><td>Ring</td><td></td></tr><tr><td>Rarity</td><td>Art &#x26; Supply</td><td>✮✮ Rare ✮✮</td><td></td></tr><tr><td>Durability</td><td>Statistic</td><td>DR: 84</td><td></td></tr><tr><td>Effect 1</td><td>Statistic</td><td>+14% Crit Chance</td><td></td></tr><tr><td>Effect 2</td><td>Statistic</td><td>+20% Crit Damage</td><td></td></tr><tr><td>State</td><td>Statistic &#x26; Art</td><td>Radiant</td><td></td></tr><tr><td>Fame Points amount</td><td>Statistic</td><td>1752 ✪</td><td></td></tr></tbody></table>

## The Origin

The Origin is linked to the Generation.&#x20;

All items of the first generation have the origin "Elemental".&#x20;

Subsequent generations will introduce new origins.

## The Classes and Rarities

Unlike monster cards, the bonuses provided by these item cards are fixed but they still depend on the item's rarity.

On items, the **rarity gives better boost** (no chance here, just big flat boost).

Here are the rarity levels and their patterns for items:&#x20;

<table data-full-width="false"><thead><tr><th width="143">Class</th><th width="117">Rarity</th><th width="325">(Exclusive) Pattern included in the DNA</th></tr></thead><tbody><tr><td>Sunglasses</td><td>Legendary</td><td>"7a2" or "7a3" or "7a4" or "7a6" or "7a7" or "7a8" or "7a9"</td></tr><tr><td></td><td>Rare</td><td>"b1" or "b4"</td></tr><tr><td></td><td>Common</td><td>all other sunglasses</td></tr><tr><td>Shield</td><td>Legendary</td><td>"51e" or "51f" or "51c" or "51b"</td></tr><tr><td></td><td>Rare</td><td>"b1" or "b9"</td></tr><tr><td></td><td>Common</td><td>All other shields</td></tr><tr><td>Sword</td><td>Legendary</td><td>"f05" or "e05" or "d05" or "c05" or "a05"</td></tr><tr><td></td><td>Rare</td><td>"c2" or "c3"</td></tr><tr><td></td><td>Common</td><td>All other swords</td></tr><tr><td>Crown</td><td>Legendary</td><td>"0e9" or "0ea" or "0eb" or "0ec" or "0ee"</td></tr><tr><td></td><td>Rare</td><td>"d5" or "d8"</td></tr><tr><td></td><td>Common</td><td>All other crowns</td></tr><tr><td>Necklace</td><td>Legendary</td><td>"cae" or "cad" or "cac" or "cab"</td></tr><tr><td></td><td>Rare</td><td>"e3" or "e6"</td></tr><tr><td></td><td>Common</td><td>All other necklaces</td></tr><tr><td>Ring</td><td>Legendary</td><td>"134" or "137" or "138"</td></tr><tr><td></td><td>Rare</td><td>"80" or "88"</td></tr><tr><td></td><td>Common</td><td>All other rings</td></tr></tbody></table>

## The State

In addition, an item card is either Radiant or Unholy, we call this the State:

* A Radiant item gives a boost to 2 related statistics. Example from above: +14% Crit Chance and 20% Crit Damage.
* An Unholy item gives one boost and one nerf to 2 distinct statistics, but the boost is **bigger**. Exception for Legendary Unholy items, the nerf is replaced by a small boost in another statistic.

*Remark*: Unholy items have a grey filter applied to the artwork on the card.

Here is an example of a set of Unholy items. You can see that the Accuracy or Attack Power nerf present in Common and Rare rarities are replaced by a small boost in Armor at the Legendary rarity.

## The Fame Points (FP)

Each item card has a base amount of Fame Points based on its rarity:

* Common: 500 FP ✪&#x20;
* Rare: 1500 FP ✪&#x20;
* Legendary: 2500 FP ✪

On this base FP is added (for Radiant items) or subtracted (for Unholy items) its durability with a multiplier (1 for Common, 3 for Rare and 5 for Legendary).&#x20;

Finally, the Fame Points of an item are attributed to the monster that equipped it.
