About Natomon
Intro
Natomon is the first dueling card game / art collection created from digital matter.
Each Natomon has unique statistics (HP, AR, Attack, Mutation, Effects, etc.) and unique arts. These attributes are generated autonomously through the Bitcoin blockchain data.
Additionally, Natomon utilizes autonomous feature release. Unreleased Natomon statistics and arts have the potential to be introduced indefinitely.
The project was initialized on early March of 2024. It took weeks of thinking and designing, and hundreds of hours of work for the project to come to fruition.
Natomon Supply
Natomon supply is determined based on the occurrence of the pattern "0eb" in the hexadecimal bits field of Bitcoin's block data. Each Natomon is associated with a specific Bitcoin block, and valid Natomon only exist for blocks containing the pattern "0eb" (see table below).

Because new Bitcoin blocks are continuously being introduced, Natomon supply is dynamic. Bitcoin's bits field is associated with mining difficulty. Mining difficulty adjusts every 2016 blocks (approximately every two weeks). Any difficulty period corresponding to the occurence of the pattern "0eb" will produce a new set of 2016 Natomon.
On deployment, Natomon Gen 1 supply is 8064. Future Natomon Gen 1 supply events cannot be precisely predicted. The next set of 2016 Natomon may be introduced next month, next year, in 10 years, in 100 years, or never.
By using the element pattern "0eb" which contains 3 characters, the chances of seeing a new set of 2016 Natomon are lower compared to an element pattern of 2 or even 1 character.
As Natomon can be seen as a card game, Natomon Gen 2 (and more) cards will arrive with a different pattern in the future.
Trait Selection
Each Natomon is a one-of-one artwork with unique statistics. Traits are not selected using directly Bitcoin's block height field as usual. We needed a lot more than its 5 or 6 digits to apply the DMT to Natomon's stats and arts, so we engineered something new. We created a deterministic custom function to hash the block number, resulting in a 64 hexadecimal characters which is what we needed. From now on, we will name it the "DNA" and by extension, we will name "genes" the 64 hexadecimal characters that make up DNA. The 64 hexadecimal characters forming the DNA are perfect to work with and get tons of combination of statistics and arts. Natomon' statistics and arts are not restricted by the 6 digits of the block number.
For each Natomon, its rarity, stats and art are assigned to a distinct pattern search function that can be applied to its DNA. In the example below, the Natomon DMT mint for block 703582 ("blk": "703582") has a rarity "Common," a unique Dragon art, and distinct stats.
Because only a subset of block heights are valid instances of Natomon, the rarity of a given stat and/or art is a function of several parameters: the block number, its resulting DNA, and the distribution of Natomon supply across blocks.
Multi-pattern DMT Framework
Natomon utilize a Multi-pattern Digital Matter Theory (DMT) framework to establish relationships between statistics and arts.
This framework was developed for Natomon. More information on this framework can be found here.

Why Natomon
Natomon was created to implement the principles of Digital Matter in a new product within the UNAT universe: the first dueling card game.
With Natomon, we unlock a new chapter in the DMT/UNAT history: you can play with it ()
In Natomon, being a dueling card game, you can collect as many cards as possible, construct your strongest deck, and engage in challenges against other players.
Remember: in Natomon, while art is appealing, focusing on the statistics of the cards is crucial for enhancing your chances of winning. Victory is paramount.😉
