# How to catch a Natomon

<mark style="background-color:orange;">**The mint of Natomon cards will be done directly and exclusively on the blockpad of the website**</mark> [<mark style="background-color:orange;">**mscribe.io**</mark>](https://mscribe.io/)<mark style="background-color:orange;">**.**</mark>&#x20;

You can find [here an article](https://mscribeio.medium.com/how-to-claim-mints-on-mscribe-nat-blockpad-57a6891f1d08) written by Mscribe that explains this new minting experience (pvp) and how to mint with the new UI.

We are using the new TAP Protocol with Privilege Authorities, which allows us to:

* Create different mint phases (WL, max mint, price, start time and duration, etc.)
* Ensure zero front running of mints
* Enable randomization of mints

You can find more information about this new TAP protocol [here](https://x.com/trac_btc).<br>

**Disclaimer:** If you choose to catch (mint) a Natomon, please do so at your own risk.&#x20;

## Step 1: Familiarize yourself with Natomon attributes <a href="#step-1-familiarize-yourself-with-natcats-traits" id="step-1-familiarize-yourself-with-natcats-traits"></a>

Review [the cards details](/the-cards.md#the-statistics) to understand how Natomon attributes are assigned.

## Step 2: Find and Mint a Natomon <a href="#step-2-find-a-natcats-block" id="step-2-find-a-natcats-block"></a>

In the blockpad, only the Bitcoin blocks that contain the pattern "**REDACTED**" in the hexadecimal bits field for Bitcoin's block data will be displayed.&#x20;

You just have to select the block you want to mint (or use the "SELECT RANDOM" option) and click on "INSCRIBE".

As explained [here](https://mscribeio.medium.com/how-to-claim-mints-on-mscribe-nat-blockpad-57a6891f1d08), you can only select an <mark style="color:orange;">**orange**</mark> block (it means it is available, not reserved not minted).

## Step 3: Visualize your Natomon in your NatoPad <a href="#step-3-view-natcat" id="step-3-view-natcat"></a>

Once you have chosen a block number that is associated with a Natomon, enter the block number in your [NatoPad](https://natomon.xyz/) to visualize it.

## Step 4: Confirm <a href="#step-6-confirm" id="step-6-confirm"></a>

Once your inscription is confirmed, you can view your NATOMON on [Mscribe](https://mscribe.io/) under "My Inventory" > "UNATs" (requires wallet connection). If your inscription was successful, you will see it reflected in the count in your NAT inventory.
